Meeting Place Nursery
At The Meeting Place we understand the importance to you as a parent to have a clean, safe nursery ministry where you can feel at ease about leaving your infant or toddler (ages 0 – 3) during our services. Our nursery workers have undergone training and have exhibited an extraordinary heart of love toward children, and a willingness to provide the very best in care and nurture.
We don’t just consider ourselves to be “babysitters”. We feel that the nursery can and should be a place where a child not only has a lot of fun, but also a place of learning. A short segment of your toddler’s activities will include the teaching of some simple bedrock truths of the Christian faith that toddlers can understand:
- Prayer is talking with God
- God made you special
- Jesus loves you
- Singing and Bible stories
- Sharing and helping
- Nursery is provided for all services and most functions.
Kid Connection
We know you’ll be excited about our “Kid Connection” ministry for ages 4 -11. Don’t worry; We understand that 4 year olds and 11 year olds are not on the same learning level, so we’ve structured the ministry for ages 4-6 and 7-11.
We use a cutting edge video curriculum called “Kidmo”. That includes a meaningful time of praise and worship, relevant teaching from the Word of God, as well as structured games and activities for the various age groups.
Feel free to take a Sunday and go to Kid’s Church with your child (if you dare) and check it out!
Pastor Eugene and Crystal Cathey administrate our Kid Connection ministry. Eugene was recently credentialed with the Assemblies of God. They, as a couple have a vision for your children to become rock solid in their faith.
